Max the Monkey South West Rocks visit with the Simpson Family

Day 1 Thursday 5th June
Pack bags and said goodbye to school and to Simpson family home where mum and monkey finish packing. Afternoon lots of fun with girls, early dinner and to bed.Slept in Emilys room.


Date 2 Friday 6th June
Got up early quick breakfast -bananas and fruit. Monkey car sick tablet and off we go.1st stop was Morriset at stop revive survive station for a monkey stretch, toilet break, warm cup of tea then on the road again. Next stop lunch at Port Macquarie, had a play then back into the car for South West Rocks. Max was very excited but had a nice sleep while we went the rest of the way. Arrived around 4:30 pm unpacked had dinner - little bit of rain so we just stayed in.

Day 3 Saturday 7th June
Up early again, good breakfast drove to Coffs Harbour to the Butterfly house - played with butterflies even Max joined in and had them over him. Sat and had a nice drink then a little more driving to the pet porpoise pool to see the seals (Solomon and Ella) and the Dolphins (Zippy and Bucky). Hannah got picked to go on stage and sing to the Dolphins while they danced for her. The faster she sang the faster they danced - the song was row row row your boat. Had a great time but very hungry and when a monkeys hungry you have to feed him - off to lunch . On the way back to South West Rocks stopped at the Honey Pot had a look and a taste of all the different honeys. Max didn’t like honey so he just had some banana lollies. That night had a play on the grass with glow sticks; looked like fireworks in the night. Great day had lots of fun.

Max returns to Canada!

Max was going to meet Betty in America but when Damian posted him, Max came back to him.

Damian then tried to send Max home to Australia in the post, but Max came back to him again!!

So......

Max will not be arriving back to his friends until Damain returns to Australia in April.

Mrs S will try and find out why Max could not come back to Australia in the Post.

Max off to Canada

Max is going to Canada with his new friend Damian. Mrs S has known Damian for 22 years so she knows Max will be safe.

Damian is going to take Max to the snow in a place called Calgary. This is where the 1988 Winter Olympics were held.

There was also movie named "Cool Runnings" that was shown many years ago. Damian said that Max will be able to see the place where the movie was made and he even had a surprise for Max.

Have fun Max...
