Happy Christmas from Max

Max was excited when he was told that he would be going to a friend's home for Christmas. He said good-bye to Ollie, Benny and Benadette at Mary MacKillop and promised he would see them again in 2007.

When Max arrived at his holiday home, he found he had plenty of other toys to talk to.

Max saw a big, green tree. It was very pretty. Max looked under the tree and wondered if there might be a present for him on Christmas morning....

Max meets Cecily

On Friday December 15, Max met Cecily. Cecily is a bird that was born in a nest his mother made from twigs on a window ledge just outside the computer room in the library.

Max thoughtCecily's mother was very clever to make the home.

Max at OLQP

Max had a wonderful week at OLQP.

He visited Year 5 for a day. He went to the library with Monique and read fact books about monkeys. They played a game about bananas on the computer. He also watched the movie “Gorgeous George”. He went to the playground at recess with Richard where they played lots of games. He did some tests with Alexander and they played a game of I Spy. He also met some of the people from the Talent Quest. He loved going to the Library at lunch time for the Quest. He thinks OLQP has a lot of talented students. He is really sorry he won’t be with everyone at OLQP for the big finale!

Max went to the module assembly, where he sat with Paul and his friends. He liked the first act best because there was a diagram with monkeys in it! He gave a big clap to all the people who got an award. He was so good he got an award too.

When he went to his music lesson with Year 3 he learnt to play the recorder and the drums! He is a very talented musician.

He loved the opportunity to participate in pep up with Year 1. He thinks he’d like to come back so he can play with the children again.
Max thinks that 1R are very hard workers after he spent time in the classroom watching them do very difficult work.

Max wrote a diary entry for 4MH. Perhaps you’d like to read it…..
A Word from Max
“Hi there I just visited O.L.Q.P. It was great. They were really good and were well behaved .We were talking about animation. They were doing all sorts of animation. Now they are doing clay animation. It was so much fun. We are going to take a lot of photos. We’re going to look at their clay animation. I am going to have a lot of fun at this school.

See you soon from Max
