Max meets Selby

Max was so excited on Wednesday. Mrs S told him that he was going to meet someone very special.

It was Selby.

Selby is the character in a book. Mrs S from St Agnes had found Selby in a Book Shop and was bringing Selby to sewing that night.

When they met, Max and Selby talked all about books. They both like reading about the many place you can visit, the poems you can read and all the adventures that book characters have. Max was very happy to have met Selby.

After a while they looked through the sewing machine at Mrs S but she explained that you need to be very careful near sewing machines so they went back to reading the book Selby had brought with him.
